Last updated: 1 July 2026

Oniise is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible platform for all users regardless of ability, language, or device. We continuously work to improve accessibility across all platform experiences.

Oniise is committed to making its platform accessible to all users. We aim to ensure that the platform is usable by people with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and other disabilities. Our accessibility program is ongoing and we continuously improve based on user feedback and industry best practices.

Our platform supports the following accessibility features:

  • Screen-reader compatibility across primary workflows
  • Keyboard navigation support
  • High contrast UI readiness
  • Scalable text sizes without loss of functionality
  • Descriptive alt text for images
  • Accessible form labels and error messages

The platform supports the following languages:

  • English (default)
  • Kinyarwanda
  • Swahili
  • French
  • Mandarin

Language switching is available across all major pages. Additional languages may be added as Oniise expands into new markets.

Oniise is designed for use across multiple device types:

  • Mobile devices — primary usage target, optimized for touch
  • Tablets
  • Desktop browsers

Responsive design ensures consistent experience across all supported screen sizes.

Oniise aims to support the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (iOS/macOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Voice control software compatibility

We continuously improve accessibility through:

  • User feedback
  • UI accessibility audits
  • Localization expansion
  • Performance optimization
  • Regular testing with assistive technologies
We are transparent about current limitations and actively working to resolve them.

Some areas of the platform may not yet fully meet our accessibility goals:

  • The interactive map feature may not be fully accessible via screen reader
  • Some advanced features may require future localization updates
  • Certain complex UI components are optimized primarily for mobile and may have reduced keyboard accessibility
