Oniise Verified Provider Terms (Tier 1)
The legal agreement governing all independent professionals offering services on the Oniise marketplace.
Last updated: 1 July 2026
These Verified Provider Terms ("Tier 1 Provider Terms") apply exclusively to individual professionals registering as independent Verified Providers on the Oniise marketplace. These are not employment terms. This document becomes a binding legal agreement upon account approval.
Enterprise organizations and companies operating teams must refer to the Oniise Enterprise Provider Terms (Tier 2).
You are an independent contractor. Oniise does not employ you. Nothing in these Terms creates:
- An employment relationship
- A joint venture or partnership
- An agency relationship
- An employer–employee arrangement
- An entitlement to employee benefits
You are solely responsible for your own business operations, taxes, equipment, tools, scheduling, and how you deliver services to Clients.
To register as a Tier 1 Verified Provider, you must:
- Be an individual person (not a registered company)
- Be legally permitted to work or operate in your jurisdiction
- Meet Oniise's minimum age requirements
- Complete all required identity verification steps
- Pass the Oniise onboarding review
- Maintain required licenses and certifications for your service category
- Comply with all applicable laws
Tier 1 Providers must complete the Oniise onboarding process, which includes:
- Profile creation — legal name, headline, bio, and photo
- Identity verification — government-issued ID
- Tax verification — TIN submission
- Service configuration — categories, pricing, availability
- Document upload — certifications, licenses, and insurance where applicable
- Agreement to platform terms
- Submission for admin review
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Each application is reviewed by Oniise's Compliance Team.
Providers must complete identity verification before becoming visible in the marketplace. Accepted documents include National ID, Passport, Driver's License, or Residence Permit. Documents must be valid, unexpired, clearly readable, and issued by a recognized authority.
Oniise may request a live selfie for biometric matching. Phone and email verification are also required.
Providers may upload multiple professional certificates to demonstrate qualifications, training, and specialized skills. Examples include trade certifications, vocational qualifications, safety training, technical diplomas, and manufacturer certifications.
Multiple uploads are encouraged where relevant to improve Trust Score and profile credibility. Certifications are displayed on your public marketplace profile.
Certain service categories require a professional license before you may offer services on Oniise. Examples include electricians, plumbers, engineers, healthcare professionals, security professionals, and other regulated occupations.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your licenses remain valid throughout your use of the platform. Expired licenses must be renewed and uploaded promptly. Oniise may remove you from search results if a required license is not current.
Depending on your service category, Oniise may require evidence of insurance coverage, including professional liability insurance, public liability insurance, or personal accident coverage. Insurance requirements vary by service type and country.
Individual Providers are strongly encouraged to maintain appropriate personal insurance even where it is not mandatory. Oniise does not provide insurance cover for individual providers.
Your public profile becomes visible in marketplace search only after your application is approved. Visibility may be affected by your Trust Score, document status, service category, availability, and compliance standing.
Oniise does not guarantee a specific search position. Providers with higher Trust Scores generally receive greater visibility.
You set your own hourly rate or service price within the guidelines provided by Oniise for your category. You agree not to misrepresent pricing, add undisclosed charges, or negotiate off-platform payments that bypass Oniise's payment system.
Oniise may publish market rate guidance to help you price competitively.
You may accept or decline booking requests. However, repeatedly declining bookings or failing to respond promptly may negatively affect your Trust Score and marketplace visibility. Accepting a booking creates a binding commitment to perform the service at the agreed time and location.
All communication with Clients should occur through Oniise's messaging tools. Communications must remain professional, respectful, and relevant to the booking. You must not share personal contact details, request off-platform payments, or solicit Clients to bypass the Oniise platform.
Off-platform solicitation is a serious violation and may result in account suspension.
Payments from Clients are processed through Oniise's approved payment partners. Your earnings are held in Payment Hold until the booking is completed and confirmed. Payouts are subject to the platform service fee, applicable taxes, and verification requirements.
You are solely responsible for declaring and paying all applicable taxes on your earnings, including income tax, self-employment tax, VAT (where applicable), and any other obligations required by law.
Oniise does not provide tax advice. Where required by law, Oniise may report your earnings to tax authorities. You must provide a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) where requested.
You should avoid cancelling confirmed bookings. Cancellations negatively affect your Trust Score and completion rate. Repeated cancellations may result in reduced marketplace visibility, temporary restrictions, or account suspension.
Genuine emergencies such as illness or serious accidents will be considered where supported by appropriate documentation.
Clients may leave reviews after a completed booking. Reviews are used to calculate part of your Trust Score. You must not purchase reviews, offer incentives for positive reviews, intimidate Clients, or attempt to manipulate ratings in any way. Review manipulation is a serious policy violation.
Your Trust Score is calculated based on booking completion, punctuality, communication, document verification, customer satisfaction, dispute history, and compliance standing. Your Trust Score affects your search ranking, badge eligibility, and access to platform features.
Trust Scores update continuously based on verified platform activity. You may appeal Trust Score decisions through the Trust & Safety Team.
As a Tier 1 Verified Provider, you are personally responsible for:
- The quality and safety of the services you deliver
- Supplying your own tools, equipment, and materials
- Arriving at the agreed time and location
- Protecting Client property and personal data
- Complying with all applicable laws and safety standards
- Maintaining your verification documents and certifications
- Reporting incidents and safety concerns promptly
Oniise may temporarily suspend your account to investigate complaints, review documents, address safety concerns, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations. Temporary suspension does not necessarily indicate wrongdoing and does not affect your right to respond to the investigation.
Oniise may terminate your account for repeated policy violations, fraudulent activity, falsified documents, unsafe conduct, criminal activity, off-platform solicitation, serious Trust Score deterioration, or regulatory requirements.
You retain ownership of the content you create. By using Oniise, you grant Oniise a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your profile information, photographs, certifications, and related materials for the purpose of operating and promoting the marketplace.
You must protect confidential information you obtain through Oniise, including Client personal details, booking information, pricing, and any data accessed through the platform. Confidential information must not be disclosed to third parties except where required by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oniise's liability is limited as described in the Global Terms of Service. You remain personally responsible for the services you deliver and for any harm resulting from your actions or omissions.
These Tier 1 Provider Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in law, platform operations, payment systems, Trust Score methodologies, or marketplace features. The latest version will always be available through the Oniise Legal Center. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
