Last updated: 1 July 2026

Important: By creating an account, browsing the Platform, booking services, offering services as a Verified Provider, or otherwise accessing Oniise, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use Oniise.

Welcome to Oniise. These Global Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Oniise platform, including all related applications, websites, services, and tools. By using Oniise, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Oniise is a digital marketplace that connects Clients (individuals and businesses), Verified Providers (service professionals), Enterprise Organizations (Tier 2 companies), and platform administrators. Oniise facilitates booking, communication, payments, trust verification, and dispute resolution between users.

Oniise is not an employer of independent Verified Providers unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

  • Client — A user requesting services (individual or business).
  • Verified Provider — A service professional offering services through Oniise after approval.
  • Enterprise Provider — A registered business managing multiple providers (Tier 2).
  • Booking — A confirmed service request and fulfillment agreement.
  • Platform — The Oniise system, including app, web, and APIs.
  • Payment Hold — Temporary holding of funds before release after service completion.
  • Trust Score — Oniise's proprietary reputation scoring system for Providers.
  • Wallet — Digital balance held within Oniise for payments, refunds, and credits.

To use Oniise, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have legal capacity to enter binding contracts
  • Provide accurate identity information
  • Pass verification where required
  • Comply with local laws

Enterprise accounts must be legally registered entities represented by an authorized individual.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining account security and keeping login credentials confidential
  • All activity under your account
  • Providing accurate onboarding and registration information
  • Notifying Oniise immediately of unauthorized account access

Oniise is not responsible for unauthorized account access caused by user negligence.

  • Individual Client (Tier 1) — For personal bookings.
  • Organization Client (Tier 2) — For businesses managing teams, approvals, budgets, multiple locations, and enterprise workflows.
  • Verified Provider (Tier 1) — Independent professionals offering services individually.
  • Verified Provider Enterprise (Tier 2) — Registered businesses managing multiple verified staff, service teams, and enterprise operations.
  • Platform Administrator — Authorized Oniise personnel responsible for compliance, verification, moderation, and operations.

A booking is formed when a Client selects a service, a Provider accepts the request, and payment authorization is completed. Bookings include scope of work, pricing, time and location, and provider assignment.

Bookings may be modified or cancelled according to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Oniise supports secure payments through approved gateways.

Payment Flow: Client pays at booking time → Funds are placed in Payment Hold → Funds are released after completion approval.

Currency: Primary currency is Rwandan Franc (RWF). USD is shown as a secondary display currency for foreign users. Applicable taxes including VAT where required by law may be added during checkout.

Oniise uses a Payment Hold system to ensure trust. Funds are held securely, released after confirmation, and refundable under dispute rules. Payment Holds protect both Clients and Verified Providers during active bookings.

Refunds depend on cancellation timing, provider action, and service completion status. Oniise may issue full refunds, partial refunds, or no refunds (for completed services). Full details are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Providers are ranked using a Trust Score based on completion rate, customer ratings, dispute history, response time, and verification level. Trust Score affects search ranking, visibility, and booking eligibility.

Certain actions require verification including Provider activation, Enterprise onboarding, high-value bookings, and payment release eligibility. Verification may include ID, business documents, tax documents (TIN/VAT), certifications, and licenses.

Oniise provides in-platform communication tools including chat between Client and Provider, booking updates, and media sharing. All communication is monitored for safety and compliance.

During active bookings, Providers may share live location and Clients may track progress. GPS data may be collected temporarily. Location sharing is only active during bookings and is governed by the Privacy Policy.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.

Users must not:

  • Commit fraud or misrepresent identity
  • Abuse the platform or harass other users
  • Attempt off-platform payments
  • Manipulate reviews or ratings
  • Submit fraudulent documents
  • Interfere with platform security
  • Conduct illegal activity

Providers must deliver services professionally, meet agreed timelines, maintain service standards, and respect Clients and their property.

Enterprise Providers may manage teams, assign internal staff, handle bulk bookings, and receive invoices. They are responsible for all staff actions conducted through their enterprise account. Full details are in the Enterprise Provider Terms (Tier 2).

Oniise reserves the right to suspend accounts, remove providers, reject bookings, modify features, and enforce compliance rules. These rights are exercised to protect users and maintain marketplace integrity.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Oniise is not liable for service performance between users, damages caused during service delivery, user misconduct, or third-party failures. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

Disputes are handled via internal review, evidence submission, Payment Hold review, and final decision by Oniise. Decisions may include refunds or payouts. Full details are set out in the Dispute Resolution Policy.

The Oniise Platform — including software, branding, logos, designs, content, databases, and technology — is owned by Oniise or its licensors. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access the Platform for its intended purposes. No ownership rights are transferred.

Accounts may be terminated for policy violations, fraud, repeated disputes, illegal activity, safety risks, or legal requirements. Termination does not remove outstanding legal obligations.

Oniise may update these Terms at any time to reflect new products, legal requirements, or operational improvements. Material updates will be communicated through reasonable notice. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda (primary jurisdiction) and other applicable laws in each country of operation. Country-specific Regional Terms may supplement these Global Terms without replacing them.
