Oniise Wallet Policy

How Wallet balances are earned, used, managed, and protected on the Oniise platform.

Last updated: 1 July 2026

The Oniise Wallet is a secure digital balance — not a bank account. Funds in your Oniise Wallet are not insured by any deposit protection scheme.

The Oniise Wallet is a secure digital balance that allows eligible users to receive, hold, and use credits within the Oniise platform. The Wallet simplifies payments, supports promotions and referrals, enables faster refunds, and provides a convenient way to pay for services.

The Oniise Wallet may be available to:

  • Individual Clients (Tier 1)
  • Organizations (Tier 2)
  • Verified Providers (Tier 1)
  • Enterprise Providers (Tier 2)
  • Enterprise Customers

Wallet availability may vary by country and applicable regulations.

Depending on account type and region, Wallets may support:

  • Service payments and refund credits
  • Referral rewards and promotional credits
  • Loyalty rewards and marketplace incentives
  • Enterprise account credits and subscription payments

Additional features may be introduced over time.

Oniise currently supports:

  • Primary Currency: Rwandan Franc (RWF)
  • Secondary Display Currency: United States Dollar (USD)

Wallet balances are maintained in the account's primary operating currency. Currency conversion displayed within Oniise is for informational purposes and may differ from rates applied by payment providers.

Where available, Wallet balances may be funded through:

  • Card payments, Mobile Money, and bank transfers
  • Enterprise deposits and promotional campaigns
  • Referral rewards and refund credits
  • Manual adjustments approved by Oniise

Not every funding option is available in every country.

Wallet balances may be used to pay for eligible Oniise services. During checkout, users may pay entirely with Wallet funds, combine Wallet funds with another payment method, or choose not to use Wallet funds. Wallet usage is subject to sufficient available balance.

Referral rewards may be credited to the Wallet after all qualifying conditions are met, including successful registration, identity verification, first completed booking, payment confirmation, and fraud screening. Referral rewards may be revoked if fraudulent activity is detected.

Clients may receive Wallet credits through Oniise's loyalty program. Loyalty rewards may depend on completed bookings, Trust Score, promotional campaigns, membership level, and seasonal offers. Loyalty credits may have expiration dates.

Promotional credits are issued at Oniise's discretion. They may have expiration dates, apply only to selected services, be limited to certain regions, and have minimum booking values. Promotional credits generally cannot be exchanged for cash.

Approved refunds may be issued to the original payment method, to the Oniise Wallet, or through another legally permitted payment channel. Wallet refunds are often processed faster than bank refunds.

Enterprise organizations may maintain dedicated Wallet balances for employee bookings, department budgets, recurring services, retainers, and approved purchasing limits. Enterprise administrators control Wallet permissions within their organizations.

Where permitted by law and supported by Oniise, certain Wallet balances may be withdrawn. Withdrawals may require identity verification, payment account verification, compliance checks, and fraud screening. Promotional credits and loyalty rewards are generally not withdrawable unless required by law.

Users are responsible for protecting their Oniise accounts. Oniise recommends strong passwords, multi-factor authentication, secure devices, and reporting suspicious activity immediately. Oniise is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by a user's failure to protect account credentials.

Wallet transactions are monitored for suspicious activity. Oniise may temporarily restrict Wallet activity where there is evidence of account compromise, identity fraud, payment fraud, money laundering, unusual transaction patterns, or policy violations. Temporary restrictions remain until investigations are completed.

Users may view Wallet activity through their Oniise dashboard. Transaction history may include deposits, payments, refunds, referral rewards, loyalty credits, promotional credits, adjustments, and withdrawals (where supported). Historical records may be retained according to applicable laws and Oniise's Privacy Policy.

Wallets with prolonged inactivity may be classified as dormant. Depending on applicable law, Oniise may request account verification, contact the account holder, restrict transactions, or manage dormant balances as required by local regulations.

Wallet balances should not become negative. If an error results in a negative balance, Oniise may recover the amount from future credits, deduct future rewards, request repayment, or temporarily restrict account features until the balance is resolved.

Oniise may correct Wallet errors resulting from technical failures, duplicate transactions, payment processor errors, fraudulent activity, or accounting corrections. Users will be notified where required.

Wallet operations are subject to anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, fraud prevention controls, sanctions screening, tax regulations, payment network rules, and applicable financial laws. Users may be required to provide additional documentation to continue using Wallet services.

Oniise may update this Wallet Policy from time to time to reflect regulatory requirements, new features, or operational improvements. Updated versions will be published within the Oniise Legal Center.
